My favourite romantic novel of recent times is "The Rosie Project" by Graeme Simsion. There are very few stories that cause me to laugh out loud, but this one had me laughing on the train, in coffee shops, on a cruise ship: the list goes on. It was so funny, yet poignant. The sequel is equally engaging.Sharon Bryanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01662544181464130756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603806150366948575.post-81767621292457895952015-10-05T14:52:35.267+11:002015-10-05T14:52:35.267+11:00Hi Enisa,

The opportunity to receive constructive feedback from friendly, positive people is invaluable. Great to have you on board. When I read your post I kept thinking yes, yes, yes, that is everything I enjoy about the company of romance writers, and also writing the books. And reading them! I hope that very soon, beside all your non-fiction books, there is a romance to grace your shelves. What subgenre are you writing in? And what's your favourite to read? I guess I like contemporary romance, a little bit sweet, but I also love historicals.Malvinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01643063300200396369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603806150366948575.post-83131119400776953972015-10-05T09:40:17.856+11:002015-10-05T09:40:17.856+11:00Hi Sharon. I love romance writing for all the same reasons, especially for allowing me to let my imagination free to create stories where love conquers all and happily-ever-after does happen. Being able to network with other writers who feel the same is a plus and finding the writers who are the perfect crit partners for you is an extra bonus, one I treasure!Enisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14618040099949009436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603806150366948575.post-3499759023913649072015-10-05T08:38:44.192+11:002015-10-05T08:38:44.192+11:00Hi Sharon and welcome to the Breathless Blog. Since joining RWA, and consequently the Breathless in the Bush writing group, I've met so many wonderful and supportive people. Without the help of my fabulous crit partners I'm not sure I'd be on the brink of publishing my debut novel with Harlequin MIRA. I hope you, too, find the same thing along your Romance-writing journey.Marilyn Forsythhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17264683453138649702noreply@blogger.com
